SafeLx focuses strictly on device operation and explicitly minimizes data collection. Our platform collects the following core operational data:
- Account Data: Name, email address, and company name provided during registration.
- Device Data: IMEI numbers, device models, enrollment status, SIM information, and real-time GPS location for enrolled devices.
- Usage Data: Dashboard activity, command logs, and session information.
- Transaction Data: Kit transfers, payments, and balance history.
What We DO NOT Collect
We absolutely do not collect, access, or store confidential personal data including your personal phone number, contacts, photos, videos, or personal messages. Our application only requires strictly necessary core phone access (such as Device Administrator or Accessibility permissions) exclusively to execute remote locking and management functions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the SafeLx platform.
- Enable remote device management commands (reboot, alert, wallpaper, SIM info).
- Send OTP notifications via WhatsApp for retailer authentication.
- Process kit transactions and maintain financial records.
- Send platform alerts and push notifications to enrolled devices.
- Improve our services through usage analytics.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: Trusted third parties (e.g., MSG91 for OTP) who assist in operating the platform under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, or court order.
- Business Transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred to the new entity.
4. Device Data & Location
GPS location and device telemetry are collected exclusively for devices enrolled into the SafeLx platform by their respective distributors or retailers. Retailers are informed at enrollment that their devices will be monitored. Location data is stored securely and is accessible only by authorized distributors who own the retailer relationship.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including JWT-based authentication, bcrypt password hashing, end-to-end encrypted communications via HTTPS, and access controls to restrict data to authorized parties only. Despite our safeguards, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Device logs and transaction records are retained for a minimum of 12 months for audit purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at the address below.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
